Eco Femme is a social enterprise from rural Tamil Nadu, India. Our friends at Auroville Village Action group startet the project and therefore enable women from the villages an own income by producing and selling ecological and reusable sanitary pads.
In the same time, Eco Femme enlightens tabooed menstruation and hygiene topics inside their courses.
We’ve been part of the project group from the beginning, and developed logo, illustrations, info material and the website. A very special delicacy for us was using tamil fonts for local variations. Tamil is one of the oldest languages on the planet, older than Latin and even older than Sanskrit.
